Gilden Test & Inspection work for clients in a wide range of business sectors and our clients range from very small companies with just a few appliances to large organisations with thousands of appliances across multiple locations.
However, our clients share a common requirement: a highly professional service at a competitive price and we consistently achieve this requirement, which is why we continue working with our clients on a long-term basis. The National Trust
Gilden Test & Inspection are the approved contractor for portable appliance testing for the National Trust properties in the South-East region of the UK. Because The National Trust properties are open to the public it is essential that appliances on display such a lamps or interactive IT equipment, vending machines, and display cabinets are fully tested to ensure their safety. Additionally there are many appliances that National Trust staff use that the public don't come into contact with - these are also fully tested to ensure their safety. We are currently in our 5th year of working with The National Trust and are proud to have such a prestigious name as one of our clients.

Gilden Test & Inspection are the approved contractor for portable appliance testing for EIS on their sites in Maidstone, Northfleet and Canterbury. We also care for the needs of The Schools Advisory Service and Partnership With Parents in Maidstone.
These KCC departments asked GTI to implement a programme of inspection and testing according to the frequencies established in The Code of Practice for the In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
We remind each department when testing or inspection is due, carry out the required services and then issue a report and certificate.
Bassetts Farm Contracts
BFC is a ground-works company specialising in the installation of mobile phone mast platforms. Being a construction company their tools receive a lot of use in harsh environments. GTI carry out a rigorous programme of inspection and testing every twelve weeks to help BFC fulfil their duty of care.

Stevens Rowsell is an engineering company based in Hastings, East Sussex. This company uses many different categories of equipment in different environments from three phase welding appliances on the factory floor to CAD IT equipment and servers. Abbeyfield
Abbeyfield offer sheltered housing to older people. GTI have been working with Abbeyfield for three years. Abbeyfield has all of it's own electrical equipment i.e. cookers, washing machines, lamps, vacuums etc tested regularly. However in their drive to fulfil their duty of care Abbeyfield also employ GTI to test & inspect the electrical equipment of their residents.
