The Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) recommends that the person undertaking electrical testing is "competent". But GTI want to be seen as being more than just competent, therefore we are qualified in City & Guilds 2377, which is the recognised qualification for PAT. GTI is also one of the first companies, specialising in PAT, to be audited and accredited by the NICEIC for appliance testing. The NICEIC is the electrical contracting industry's independent voluntary body for electrical installation matters throughout the UK. They offer industry-leading certification services, Building Regulations Schemes, products and support to electrical contractors and many other trades within the construction industry.
